More than 1,200 horsemen in traditional clothing. A new world record has been made in Chechnya for the largest horse Cavalry march. The Calvary passed through the Terskiy Mountain Range.

The republic has never seen anything like this. More than 1,000 horsemen went on a mass Сavalry march. On the outskirts of Grozny, Ramzan Kadyrov took the lead of the march. Each horseman is wearing traditional Chechen clothing.
Preparations for the Сavalry march took several weeks. Participants not only learned how to properly sit in the saddle but also prepared the horses. At the finish line, a pair performs the Lezginka dance. What makes it unusual is that it's done on horses, too.
A new world record has been made today! The 1,200 horse Сavalry march was the largest march to ever take place.
Ramzan Kadyrov, Head of Chechen Republic: "I really love horses. Today, we held an event, which I've never heard of to take place in the whole world. We extol the prophet Suleiman's son and our ancestor's traditions".
Guests celebrated to traditional song and dance. The main themes: friendship, honor, and love for your country.
