The largest one took place in Moscow. The sky was lit with 10,000 volleys. The light show took place at Poklonnaya Hill. In Saint Petersburg, the Mikhailovsky Military Academy was responsible for the fireworks display. The artillerymen used pyrotechnics with colored lights. In the Southern Military District, crews carried out more than 3,000 volleys in Rostov-on-Don, Stavropol, Astrakhan, Sevastopol, and Kerch.
