On Thursday, they began to sell railroad tickets to Crimea by way of the Crimean Bridge. In 24 hours, they already sold 5,000 tickets all over Russia.
The train from Saint Petersburg to Sevastopol is the first to be launched on December 23rd. The trip lasts 43.5 hours. On the following day, on December 24th, the first train from Moscow to Simferopol will be launched. The total trip time is 33 hours.
Yesterday, photos of the railcars' interiors were published. The beautiful interior features a well-lit open space with a variety of amenities. So, the journey along Mother Russia will be pleasant.
Thus, the construction of the Crimean Bridge, the longest bridge in Europe, has been completed. After passenger trains, freight trains will go to Crimea. That's a huge project.
